Baby & Toddler Friendly

In our experience, these recipes are great for babies, toddlers, and kids! A few things to keep in mind: be careful with recipes containing any allergens you have yet to introduce (soy, sesame, egg, shellfish, etc.), and note that some of these recipes may be more suited to toddlers rather than babies just starting solids. You may need to make adjustments to serve foods in developmentally appropriate ways (solidstarts.com is a great resource). For stir-fries for instance, we cook the veggies a little longer to get them softer, and chop everything small before mixing in with rice or porridge. You may also choose to reduce the seasoning ingredients slightly to lower sodium or omit any cooking wine if you’d rather not cook with alcohol.
